Happy to announce SJR is officially open for business! It has been a long time coming and I am thrilled to begin accepting shoes publicly. I appreciate all of you who have given me your shoes to work on during this preliminary word-of-mouth phase and to those who encouraged me to keep pursing this goal. If you live locally, you have the option to drop off your shoes at either Pine Needle Mountaineering downtown or at Gravity Labs climbing gym. There is a convenient drop off station at both locations with detailed directions on everything you need to know when dropping off. If you live elsewhere, I am more than happy to accept your footwear as well and the option for shipping is more detailed on the "Order Form" tab within the site.

I have so many ideas for content creation, community involvement and activation, personal growth and skill development, and future improvements at the shop. I am excited to make all of these ideas floating around in my head come into fruition over time and share them with you as they come to life. In the meantime, I am just grateful that SJR has gotten to this point and that I have had the support to make it a reality. Being a part of the Durango area community is something that I don't take lightly. I know how much of a privilege it is to be able to call this area home and even more so to have a workspace here that allows me to pursue a craft such as resoling.

I have bounced around the west a lot since initially getting my ticket out this way after college where I landed a job with the American Alpine Club outside of Jackson, WY at the Grand Teton Climbers' Ranch. Since this time, I have lived in half a dozen other locations in the west but none have resonated with my quite like Durango and the San Juan Mountains. So yeah, just feeling grateful and excited for what is to come with SJR. If you have questions about the resoling process or about any order specific inquires please shoot me an email at sanjuanresole@gmail.com .

Thank you for the love and support,

-Scott
